The Hidden Trail

The Hidden Trail View
 Take a look at my new best friend! This is about 3/4 up the hill. I will post more pictures of what it looks like from my house and the incline. My goal is to be able to briskly walk up the entire thing with little to no breaks by the end of the summer. I'm not sure if that gives me too much time to work on it, or if I won't accomplish it. Like I mentioned before, I've never really made fitness goals for myself before, so this is all new. :)

The trail wraps around the mountain to face Missoula on the "L"...I think the name of the mountain is Jumbo? Correct me if I'm wrong.

Last night I was able to take a break from working out, but tonight I plan on taking my walk, hiking up part of the trail, and doing 50 (might be 55...not sure) squats! I've taken part of the 30 Day Squat Challenge!

Thank goodness for the protein powder I use after my workouts. It literally has helped with the soreness and maintaining muscle during the last 10 days or so.

Tonight I plan on working out and then spending time on here. I will update with some foods/recipes that I've been eating, the protein powder I use, and the vitamins. I will also log the changes I've discovered lately.

I'm on my lunch break eating a turkey burger (no bun), a salad: romaine hearts chopped up, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, and snap peas with just a pinch of finely shredded reduced fat cheese (the kind with the Weight Watchers approval).
